Susan Hale grew up in Maine, traveled to Florida, New York and then settled in California in her early 20’s. She met and married Lawrence Orlando Bowles. Together they moved to Pacifica and finally settled in San Francisco, where she raised 4 children (1 boy and 3 girls). She was known as one of the neighborhood moms of 27th Ave., which meant she was a mother to about 30 other kids. Through out her live she traveled the world, threw many parties -for any reason, raised many animals and helped to raise her granddaughter (Heather). She passed away in Napa, with loved ones at her side.
