July 25th 2009 at 9 AM, the boat from the Neptune Society left Pier 39. It was a typical summer day in San Francisco. The boat cruised by Alcatraz Island and on into a cove by the Golden Gate Bridge on the Sausalito side. Surrounded by family and friends, a short service, the scattering of your ashes and your reading by me.
We took you for a short ride by the Marina Greens through Golden Gate Park, by the house on 27th Ave.
We all gathered to celebrate in Sigmond Stern Grove, which we all know that you loved so. Many of your dearest and oldest of friends joined us there.
We all love and miss you very much.

Terri, Chris, and I traveled to Maine on behalf of mom in May. Her last family member, a brother, Keith Hale was ill. We visited him. The family resembalance was so amazing, it was just like looking at our mother, grandmother, again. So now the family is whole.
She had been telling me to go home for her, I didn't understand. Now I do and understand. I was glad to do this for her. Met many wonderful family members. Will always be thankful for the opportunity.

It has been 3 months today, sometimes it seems so long, other times just like yesterday. I miss you. Marilynn Salyer passed away yesterday. Heather has to go through this again. The house has a new roof and we are starting to get work done on it. It'll just take time. I talked to Edna the other day. Keith is doing O.K. as is everyone else in your family. The plans are all set for the neptune society, abd the grove. I've been getting everything done as you asked its taken more time then I thought it would. Heather and Manuel will be in the house hopefully at the end of the month. I know this was your main concern above all else. They'll both be happy there, Mia can't wait and Lito is statrting to get excited also. I just wanted you to know I think of you every day and, miss you sooooo much. I love you.
